It's payback time for Team India. Their tour to England was certainly worse
than a nightmare. They were whitewashed in the test series, lost the one off Twenty20
international and also remained winless in the ODI series.
Now the battle will be on their home ground where they were crowned as World
Champions. England tour to India has five ODIs and one Twenty20 match.
The tournament kicks off with an ODI match in October 13 at 14:30 IST 9:00 GMT

India will be missing a lot of their key players like their last visit to England.
Their missing list includes Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan,
Ishant Sharma, Munaf Patel, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma and recent inclusion
was Harbhajan Singh due to abdominal Strain though he played for Mumbai
Indians in the Champions League after returning home from England due to injury.
A lot of pressure will be on skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni as he was very unsuccessful
in the Champion's League as well. India is likely to open with Gautam Gambhir
who played couple of brilliant matches after his inclusion in KKR and Parthiv
Patel who had a pretty good England tour. Certainly they will be looking
to get a lot from Virat Kohli who played extra-ordinarily well for RCB.
Both Suresh Raina and Skipper himself have to perform a lot better than their
When it comes to bowling Team India have always concern. Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan
Singh will be missing, so it would be a great loss for them. Their pace attack
will be dependent on Praveen Kumar, Umesh Yadav and Aravind. None of
them has been impressive recently. So, spinner Ashwin and Rahul Sharma will
be their key bowlers.
England team is pretty solid like before. They have brought hard hitter Kevin
Pietersen in the squad who was not included in the ODI series in England, this
will certainly give them a lot of boost and their team will be stronger too.
Skipper Alastair Cook will be opening the innings with Craig Kieswetter
who had a very good time in Champions League Twenty20 2011.
They have batsmen like Jonathon Trott, Ian Bell and Ravi Bopara who played
really some match winning performance at home.
Like Indian England have missing players list. They will be missing their two
leading bowlers James Anderson and Stuart Broad. It might not be a great loss
at the end as they have experienced and qualified bowlers who can still provide
England with a win in any day.
Tim Bresnan and Steven Fin have to perform well and cope up with the track
as soon as possible. On the other hand, Samit Patel and Graeme Swann
must be happy as they are getting a good spinning track to bowl.
Though England are away from home but they are still the favourite. A lot of things
are dependent on the result of tournament especially for team India. India will
be as desperate as before but Alastair Cook's men have showed themselves to be
light years ahead of, so it would be a massive task for the "Men in Blue."
